Le but de cet exposé est de présenter les objets algébriques qui interviennent dans nos travaux. En particulier, nous introduirons la notion de groupe algébrique, à l’aide d’exemples classiques, construits à partir de formes quadratiques et d’algèbres à involution. Ce point de vue permet de voir la théorie des formes quadratiques comme une source d’inspiration importante pour l’étude des algèbres à involution.

In this talk, we will introduce the main characters of our work. In particular, we will define the notion of algebraic groups, starting from classical examples related to quadratic forms and algebras with involution. From this point of view, the algebraic theory of quadratic forms appears as an important inspiration for the study of algebras with involution.
